Foraging and Distilling Day 7th June 2024

Foraging and Distilling Day 7th June 2024

£145.00

Our ever-popular foraging and distilling days are not to be missed. These take place at select times of the year only. Dates and places are limited each year, to ensure responsible and sustainable foraging at seasonally appropriate times.

Each day accommodates 6 participants.

The day starts with a foraging walk led by Adrian Rose, acclaimed Lancashire-based forager and founder of Northwest Bushcraft. You will learn to identify and collect botanicals in the local area, which you will later use to produce your own 70cl bottle of gin. Adrian is hugely knowledgeable and this informative and entertaining morning sets the tone for the day ahead.

It is then back to the home of Goosnargh Gin, to enjoy a light locally sourced lunch and relaxed chat with the group.

The remainder of the day is then spent in our distillery, learning a little more about our story, recipe development, and the distillation process. Finally, you will take charge of your own copper alembic mini still, in order to create your very own 70cl bottle of gin using your foraged botanicals, along with any of our preserved botanicals that take your fancy!
